( Preface to WEDDING AT MIDNIGHT)

PREPARED FOR THE WEDDING?

. . . at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Matthew 25:6

For the Christian, the future is not outlined in the stars, but the Holy Scriptures.  Yet, although it seems obvious to most that our world is rapidly changing, and headed for a date with destiny–many believers are in a quandry about what, exactly, to make of Biblical forecasts concerning our future.

Is the church raptured at the openning of John's apocalyptic Revelation (4:1), or do we go through great trial and affliction, to eek out an existence until the marriage supper of the Lamb?

Or, have we ignored a third possibility: that we are already passing through that veil, and are now in the midst of his awesome forecast?  Indeed, if we are to take the "bad with the good," may we also expect to take part in that fiery, remnant revival, heretofore thought reserved for our Jewish friends, alone?

It is this third position (with evidences) which this e-book presents: that the NWO, Operation Desert Storm (and even WWII) were forecast in the scriptures, but that the Lord allowed certain roadblocks to exist within the mind of the church–so that judgment and the end of the age, might come to a conclusion.¹

We are dealing with some hard questions here: the judgement of God, the sovereignty of God, and the love of God: all applied to the hearts of believers facing "midnight" at the end of the age.

Soon, the scriptures tell us, at the critical hour, the rank and file of Christendom will awaken, rub their eyes, and realize that they face the crisis of the centuries—and half the church, at large, will miss the wedding feast (Matt. 25:7-10).  Therefore:

Let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

I Thessalonians 5:6

Yes, let those of us, who are of the day, be ready for His appearing.  "Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. . . for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." (Rev. 19:5,7)

Note the angel's emphasis: "All you His servants, and you who fear God." —The fear of God, this must be our starting point.
