So then, Jesus really is God?

Yes! -and before you ask another question, consider this.  If God were only like a man, sitting on a throne in the sky -how could he ever answer your prayer?  If he took time to solve your problem, and something went awry in a galaxy at the other end of the universe . . . would it simply have to go hay wire, while he stopped to answer you?
How could he answer your prayer, and your neighbor's at the same time?  How could he keep tabs on the developing DNA in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:16) . . . while at the same time be filling heaven and earth? In fact, scripture says that God is so high that he actually has to humble himself to behold what happens in Heaven (Psalm 113:6)!  How is all of this possible?

Of course, we cannot
answer all questions, here.  God is quite beyond us (Isaiah 55:8,9).  Yet, is is helpful to realize that the God of the Bible lives in a universe much larger than most of us conceive of.
God's universe, you see, also includes a "place" called "eternity."

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit,...

Isaiah 57:15

This "place," made by Jesus (John 1:3) is what we would generally call another dimension.  It's a "place" which transcends time and space.  In this "place," "That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past." (Eccl. 3:15) In this "fourth dimension," in other words, the past, present, and future are all accessible at once!  -But wait,

how can this be?  Solid people (in three dimensional time and space) cannot inhabit eternity!  When I move my hand in front of my face, one second it is here, then there, and then still further away -for my hand cannot be in all places at once . . . unless I were... a spirit.
"God is a Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth."

John 4:24

As Eternity transcends time and space, the  Father who inhabits it, literally fills heaven  and earth. Yet (if your mind hasn't been blown yet!) -how can such a God now communicate with us??  Perhaps, he can thunder at us, from the heavens (John 12:28,29)?  Or,  . . . he may also allow the luxury of having another expression of himself within our dimension of time and space, via the Son, "Who is the image of the invisible God . . . ." (Colossians 1:15).

Yes, the Son really has declared him.

Yet, there is more.
For God, who sets his own  limits, and inhabits both Eternity and time and space, also inhabits . . . the dimension of the mind,  so that he not only transcends time and space (in Eternity) and can walk among us (through the Son) -but may also inhabit the hearts and minds of men and women, through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:5-9).
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you will hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, . . . ."

Hebrews 3:7,8

An awesome God!!
And yes, today, if you have not yet repented of your sins and invited the God of the Bible into your heart, DO SO, TODAY!  For, in truth, this Jesus is very God, ". . . being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, and

upholding all things by the word of his power. . ." has, for believers, "purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:3) --and  now prepares to come again, to judge this wicked world!
Where, in time or space, can you ever hide from him?!!
What problem can you think of, or imagine, which he cannot solve?
What sin is there, too great for such a God, to overcome?
Surely, there is only one -a refusal to turn from our rebellion/sin, and accept his gift of forgiveness, with open arms!

Why is all of this possible?
Because the only thing greater than God's power and majesty
      is his love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

You can open yourself, and receive him into your heart, right now, by praying (sincerely) a simple prayer, like this one:

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your only begotten Son into the world, to die a horrible death, and arise from the grave, to save me from my sins, and eternal fires. I hereby renounce my sin, and Satan's control over my life, through the power of Christ's shed blood.
I gladly welcome you into my heart, Lord Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. Come, and fill me with your love, peace, and power!
